A contribution to Kalamazoo Masters Swim Club helps us grow our Coaches Bonus Fund and our General Fund.
The Coaches Bonus Fund is disbursed as bonuses to coaches on a periodic basis as a reward for their hard work. Our coaches are the beating heart of our organization and without their commitment we wouldn’t exist.
Supporting our coaches shows how much we appreciate their presence on the deck, especially at 5:00am in the morning!
The General Fund is used to sustain the Kalamazoo Masters for any unforeseen expenses and to promote programming as desired by our members. Examples of potential additional programming could include: stroke clinics, hardship scholarships, student scholarships, discounts on lifeguard training for members, Adult-Learn-to-Swim programs, and increases in practice offerings.

Kalamazoo Masters Swim Club (ZOOM) is a 501(c) non-profit organization. The mission of ZOOM is to encourage a healthier lifestyle through swimming by offering and supporting a Masters swimming program.
ZOOM will:
• encourage and promote improved physical fitness and health in adults 18 years of age or over who would like to gain and maintain fitness through swimming and encourage programs to foster this mission.
• support and encourage competitions among its members and those of other clubs.
• offer adults the opportunity to participate in a lifelong fitness and/or competitive swimming program.
• encourage the local community to sponsor and support the Masters swimming programs.
• support other local and national Masters swimming programs.
• enhance fellowship and camaraderie among Masters Swimmers.
• support and encourage the goals and objectives of USMS.
Your financial support of ZOOM enables us to offer masters swimming programming to all adult swimmers in the greater Kalamazoo area, as well as supporting our coaches with continued education, certification, and training.
