ADULT-LEARN-TO-SWIM

Sundays 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Tuesdays, and Thursdays 6:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.
This low-cost, accessible to all, beginner-level adult swim lessons is open to anyone over the age of 18 who is not yet able to swim with their face in the water or float unassisted in deep water. The ALTS course includes 8 lessons of 10.5 hours of instruction time over 3 weeks and is capped at 12 participants with an instructor:participant ratio of 1:3.
If you are able to swim the length of a pool and are interested in stroke development, you may be more suited to participate in the Learn-to-Lap-Swim program offered by ZOOM or try Kalamazoo Masters by attending a workout.
Cost
$50 per person
The tuition for all participants are supported by an ALTS grant from USA Swimming.
Includes: 8 classes, goggles, and swim cap
Repeat ALTS students: If you are repeating ALTS you are required to have an annual membership to United States Masters Swimming (USMS) for insurance purposes. Annual USMS memberships can be obtained here: https://www.usms.org/join-usms/join-or-renew and cost $75. This is in addition to the cost of the ZOOM class.
